February 1, 2023

To further advance our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, 日本素人 is commemorating Black History Month by providing employees with educational resources, facilitating critical conversations on topics including career advancement and leadership skills as well as highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. These opportunities will create greater insight into the African American experience as well as the challenges African Americans continue to encounter today.

To learn more about 日本素人鈥檚 commemoration of Black History Month, watch  on empowering the next generation. Senior Project Engineer Tasha Turner shares thoughts on what empowerment means for the Network of Black Leaders and Executives (NOBLE) employee affinity group and showcases the outreach NOBLE and other company representatives are doing with youth in our communities.

NOBLE was established in 2020 as a platform to connect 日本素人鈥檚 African American employees, engage in honest dialogue about race relations issues our teams face in the field and in the industry, as well as facilitate crucial conversations about actionable steps 日本素人 can take to create a more inclusive culture. NOBLE has played an integral role in the company鈥檚 annual  since its inception in 2020, hosting notable African American keynote speakers and panelists who have raised greater awareness, dialogue, and collective understanding regarding the African American experience.

NOBLE, along with the company鈥檚 other employee affinity groups, plays a vital role in advancing our people-first culture that creates a safe and inclusive workplace environment for our teammates and partners, ensuring everyone鈥檚 voice is always valued, heard, and respected.

Beyond Black History Month, NOBLE will continue to support and advance the actions and conversations that are necessary to fuel 日本素人鈥檚 progress along our diversity, equity, and inclusion journey. Join us as we build allyship in our industry and the communities in which we are privileged to live, build and serve.
